This is the 3rd volume in this remarkable series that when complete will be a monumental reference work to the landshells of the world. This volume, like the others in the series are pictorial iconographies. This volume is the first one covering the family Bothriembryontidae and it is the first that will cover the shells in the Annulariidae, the Ariophantidae, and the Azecidae. In all this volume covers 638 shells belonging to 421 species and also includes 41 subspecies as well as 2 shells that are named forms. As is the case with all of the other volumes in this series, the photographs are large and sharp to make identification of the shells easy.
