This book, "Cuba The Landshells Paradise" is the first in a series of books on the beautiful and endemic land mollusks found in Cuba. He can see how this book forms a pattern that he refined and used in his later books. Several years ago was able to get copies of this book for a while and they sold very well. But, the source for these books dried up a few years ago making this book almost impossible to obtain. I was very lucky to find this copy and luckier yet to find a copy in new condition. It is the first copy that I've seen in a long time. As well as being a very informative book it contains spectacular photographs by the author and also the noted photographer Julio Larramendi. The prologue is by Tom Rice giving a bit of extra interest to the book. If ever there was a book that cries out to be reprinted, this is it.
