This is a major work by Alan Solem that was published between the years 1979 through 1997. The seven books in this set cover the terrestrial shells in the Camaenidae in Western and Central Australia. These books contained detailed descriptions of these mollusks, including their range, taxonomy, type specimen locations, and a diagnosis of their anatomy. The books include black and white photographs, SEM photographs, charts, maps, and tables to illustrate the text. Volumes I through VI are books from the library of Ken Emberton. Volumes 1-5 vary in the use of wear and condition from very good to good. Volume VI has had water damage to the lower part of several of the first pages. These pages stuck together, and when opened, some of the text adhered to the following page. There is minimal text loss, but it is almost completely legible, give or take a few words. Volume VII is in new condition.
