1976, privately printed, paper covers, 138 pages including 23 full size b/w plates, 8½ by 11 inches (21.5 by 28 cm)

This book was eclipsed by the Radwin & D'Attilio's book that came out the same year that this book was published and consequently it never had as wide a distribution it deserved. It features 23 full size plates with clear b/w photos of the shells and straight forward shell descriptions that make it a pleasure to use. As well as the photographs there are drawings of shells throughout the text to help with shell identification. Copies of this book are very scarce. The title is handwritten on the spine. This book is used but in over all good condition. The cover is slightly discolored and a separation of the spine at the crease with the cover has been tape repaired. This book is extremely hard to find now. This copy has an autographed inscription by the author to the book's previous owner.
