This album is the 12th volume in this series, and it concludes coverage of the Camaenidae, and covers the families Canariellidae, Caryodidae, Cepolidae and, the Cerastidae. It includes 548 shells belonging to 165 species,27 subspecies and 11 named forms. As is the same with the other volumes in this series there is little text except for a list of the family systematics The high quality photographs, generally of several views of a single species and variations within a species are what makes this a useful reference guide. Each of the illustrated specimens are keyed by their scientific name, and a reference to the size of the shell and generalized locality information about where it was found.
