"Eocene Mollusks from Citrus and Levy Counties, Florida" is a survey of the late Eocene mollusks found in 2 counties along the west coast of Florida. This is an ex-library book and as such, has a number of library stamps inside its covers and on its' flyleaf pages. The book contains the descriptions of many dozens of newly discovered species from the area known as the Avon Park Limestone and from the Ingles Member of the Moody Branch Formation. Detailed descriptions of these shells along with sharp black and white photographs make this a book that significantly increases our knowledge of the mollusks that lived in Florida before the Recent Era. This is an ex-library catalog label taped over the lower spine. The front cover is slightly separating from the body of the book but has been reinforced with acid-free tape. The covers show a lot of shelf-wear.
