Nautilus: The Biology & Paleobiology of a Living Fossil
by W. Bruce Sander & Neil H. Landman

ISBN 9780306427091, published ©1987 by Plenum Press, New York, hardcover with printed dust jacket, about 6.25 by 9.75 inches, about 15.5 by 25 cm., 632 pages and additional 28 pages of introductory material and 4 color plates. Text includes additional numerous black and white photographs, SEM scans, charts, maps and tables

"Nautilus" is a book composed of 10 main headings covering these mollusks' biology and paleobiology. The main sections include 37 chapters written by experts and this field of study, and dozens of them have contributed to their writing to this project. The book will be of benefit mainly to malacologists. But there is enough material in the book to offer collectors as well. This book is a used library copy. It has some wear on the dust-jacket, and there is a catalog label on the spine. It has a few rubber-stamped impressions with the library's name. The body of the book appears to be new.
