Bivalve Seashells of Florida
by Trish Hartmann

ISBN 978-0975905906, published by Andara Press, Tampa, Florida in 2006. Paperback, 5.25 by 8.5 inches, 13.25 by 22 cm., 183 pages, 64 color photographic plates

"Bivalve Seashells of Florida" is a book that sold out very quickly when it came out. I've not had a copy to offer for a long time. It is an excellent book covering in detail and photos 167 species of the more common bivalved mollusks found in Florida and the Southeast. While it is nowhere as comprehensive a book as Mikkelsen and Bieler's "Seashells of Southern Florida," it will serve as a more than an adequate guide for less specialized collectors. This copy of this book is brand new.
