This 1987 book is one of the only books available to collectors with an interest in these beautiful shells from the tropical parts of the globe. It is a large book,24 by 32.5 cm in size(9.5 by 12.75 inches), hard cover with a lovely dust jacket and it is 279 pages in length. There are 77 full size color plates and 64 smaller illustrations in color to aid in the identification of these shells. The shells are arranged geographically which in itself can be a very useful tool when try to pin down an identification.
