The Living VolutesI was amazed to come across 4 copies of this very important monograph in brand new condition even though these books are now 50 years old. There have been some other books over the years that cover this family, and there have been additions of new species and other changes in their classification that have occurred. But, never-the-less no other book has covered these often rare and beautiful mollusks with fuller descriptions combined with excellent photographic coverage. Many of the shells in the family are very beautiful and several of them included in the book are of the only specimens know at the time that this book was written.
