This is a superb monograph on this large family of molluscan gastropods which make up a large part of the mollusk population of shallow, intertidal waters and that also are found a very great depths of more than 2000 meters. Unfortunately this is another of those very important works in the shell literature that are very hard to obtain. This copy is the first one that I've had for sale. Cernorhorsky was a meticulous researcher and his descriptions coupled with the very clear photographic illustrations of these shells make this an invaluable work This book is in as new condition. |
