This is a book that is missing in most shell libraries since only a few copies were printed. It is only rarely now that we ever have a copy of this book to offer. It can be thought of as a guide to selected species of the Conidae generally found off the Maylaysian Peninsula with some overlap to those found in the surrounding regions. This is a used book but it is in very serviceable condition. There is a problem with the binding that is found in many of the copies of these books which may be why so few books were printed. It has a stitched and glued binding but the gluing was not properly done and pages have separated along the bottom 35% of the lower edges of some pages. This book has had 8 pages reinforced with library binding tape to insure that they will not become detached any further from the spine. There is a triangular tear on the lower left side of the dustjacket, but the entire cover is now enclosed in a clear plastic wrapper that will prevent any further damage to the entire cover. This is one of only a very few copies we've had since the book went out of print. There was a very small printing done of this book and cone collectors are eager to get a copy of it when they can.
