Description
Shallow-Water Turridae of Florida & the Caribbean
Northern border of Florida to Southern Brazil in depths of Less than 250 meters
by Margaret (Peggy)Williams

2006, published privately by the author, spiral binding with laminated paper covers, un-paginated, printed single sided, page size is 8½ by 11 inches (about 21.5 by 28 cm),  ½ page pictires and information of each species in color photos, black and white photos and line drawings.

This work is a momument to the dedication and the research that Peggy Williams has put into the study of these often neglected shells. It is a formidible research tool and the work encompasses more than 500 proposed names for species that fit within the limits of depth for this study. Peggy has managed to find or photograph all but one of these species for this book.  I'll borrow this from the author's web site to give you and understanding of the format of this book
"Each species occupies a card taking 1/2 page (some have two cards), with one, two, or more illustrations on each card. Range, depth, and size are indicated as reported by ANSP from literature. Comments about sculpture or shape are largely my own or distilled from the original descriptions, or from my observations, and I have indicated color wherever I could. Subfamilies are indicated as currently understood, and synonyms are listed at the left side after the Ò+Ó sign. Illustrations are all the same size regardless of the size of the shell, so care should be taken to note the size indication under the author's name." A magnificent work, a labor of love and a valuable tool for future research are the trems that can best be used to sum up this book.
