| Sea Slugs of Korea by Dong, Bum Koh
2006, Pungdeung. Publishing, Korea, laminated paper covers with glossy printed paper dust jacket, 249 pages with color photographs throughout, 5.75 by 8.25 inches (about 15 by 21 cm), text in Korean
A beautiful identification guide to more than 200 species of opisthobranchs and nudibranchs found off Korea and Jeju Island to the south. The photographs are stunning and the printing is first quality but the usefulness of this book to non-Korean speaking people will unfortunately limit the audience for this book. Standard Latin names are used for the mollusks and there is an occasional phrase or two in English but for the most part you will only find this book to be a picture guide to these lovely creatures. The author is an expert in this field and it appears that he has done a lot of research and spent a lot of time in the water with these mollusks to produce a book of this high caliber.
