This 2003 publication by Backhuys Publishing is a very useful update to the "Wentletrap Book" and you will find a lot of shells here that were named after the publication of that book. It is number six of the "Monographs of Marine Mollusca" series and it is an A4 size(21 by 30cm), soft covered work of 140 pages. There are 20 full color plates in the book and there are many extreme close up photos to aid in the identification of the shells .There is a clear discussion of each species and one new species is named in this book. |
