This is a slim book since there are only 8 species and 3 forms that the authors recognize in this family. The shells are, of course, widely variable, and to their credit almost all conceivable variations are illustrated in this book. . The format is very much like the Conchological Iconography, minimal text and maximum photo coverage. As well as the color plates there are 18 b/w illustrations. |
