edited by Guido Poppe
2010, ConchBooks, Germany, laminated board covers, stitched binding, A4 size (about 20.5 by 30 cm) about 8 by 11¾ inches, 675 pages incl. about 300 full color plates and some other color illustration.
This is the final publication in this excellent series and like the other three volumes this is a magnificent book. Most of the book is devoted to coverage of the Bivalve shells which began in Volume III. The coverage includes the families Spondylidae, Cardidae, Tellinidae and many others. Also included are the Dentalium shells and the Octopods. This volume also contains the amendments and additions and corrections for the other 3 volumes. This book as with the others in the set has minimal text but superb photographs to serve as identification guides to the rich molluscan fauna of the Philippines.
