This is another title
that I've just found and added to the growing number of titles in my
catalog covering the Opistobranchs, the so called "shell-less mollusks". I guess that this is the start of a trend here
since the more information that I see about these beautiful creatures
the more fascinated I am becoming with them. If the truth be know, in
the "old days" when I did a lot of diving for shells I sort of paid "no
never mind" to these animals since I knew there was no way that I could
preserve their beauty and take them home to put in my cabinet. Now that
I am older (but probably not a great deal wiser) I am beginning to
appreciate what I over looked before. In this book as in the others
that I am now offering you will have a chance to become familiar with
several hundred of these beautiful mollusks and see them as they are
seen in their habitat. There is some degree of overlap in this title
with "Eastern
Pacific Nudibranchs"
but there is a lot of different information that can be gathered from
each of these books. There are multiple photos of more than 230
differnt species shown in this book. Although this one is written
entirely in Spanish I don't think that it will present any great
difficulties to readers unfamiliar with the language. . The key element here is the animals; and they are
stunningly photographed and presented to you. |
