The Operculate Land Mollusks of the Family Annulariidae of the Island of Hispanola and the Bahama Archipelago
by Paul Bartsch
1946, Smithsonian Institution, as US National Museum Bulletin 192, paper covers with stapled binding, 264 pages, about 6 by 9˝ inches (15.5 by 24.25 cm), 38 plates b/w photographs.
A detailed study of the operculate terrestrial molluscs in the family Annularia found in Hispanola and in the Bahamas. An important work by Bartsch which expands upon his earlier work with Henderson on this family. It is a scholarly study and represents an important link to the more recent work by Watters. I have two copies one with library markings and one without them. It is a hard book to find now in any condition Both books have uncut pages. Their condition is very good but the covers show a little wear at the edges.
