ISBN 978-3-939767-06-0, IKAN Publishing, Germany, 2007, laminated boards, stitched binding, page size about 20 by 28cm (7¾ by 10¾ inches) ,360 pages, more than 2500 color photographs in varying sizes illustrating more than 1180 species of nudibranchs in full color
Those of you who are already familiar with the other publications by this team will know just how beautiful and how useful these books are. The photography is outstanding and there is an excellent description with vital information about each of the mollusks that are illustrated. It is an amazing encyclopedia that should be a part of anyone's library who is interested in these beautiful creatures. As shell collectors a book like this is the only way that we can see the fantastic shapes and colors of these "shell-less" mollusks. We are replacing Coleman's "Encyclopedia of Nudibranchs" with this title. Although this book is more than twice the price of Coleman's book it is so far superior to that book that there is no fair way to compare the two books. The book has a limited availability and I suspect that it will be in and out of stock frequently. I suggest placing your order now to avoid what may be a long wait for our next copies.
