| Nudibranchi
del Mediterraneo
by Egidio
Trainito
2005,
Il Castello, Milan, Italy , plasticized paper covers, glued
binding, 96 pages, color photos
throughout, page size
is 6 by 9 inches (15 by 22.5cm) in Italian
I am pleased to be
able to ad this book to the rapidily increasing Opisthobranch
section of my book listings since it is an especially beautiful book.
The entire text of this book is in Italian but that should
not
discourage anyone from adding a copy to their bookshelf. It
is
the sort of book that anyone with a fundamental knowledge of shells and
sealife can pretty much interpret for themselves. As with the other
books in this section the photographs are gorgeous and there
are
180 species of Nudibranchs
covered in this slim volume. Shown in their natural environment and
suspended in motion for us to appreciate their beauty and their
complexity. |
