This is a fascinating look at some very rare, deep-water mollusks collected over a period of years by deep-sea research vessels. Many of the shells are now familiar to us now and many of them will remain "the stuff that dreams are made of" since their habitat is beyond the range where it is now possible or feasible to go out collect them. This study also appears in "Studies in Tropical American Mollusks" by Bayer & Voss along with other articles of interest. These reprints are in new condition but they are in limited supply.
