by Edward J. Petuch
1991, W.H. Dall Paleo. Research Center, Florida, laminated paper covers, stapled, 8½ by 11 inches (21 by 27cm), text is 59 pages and 10 page size black & white plates
This is the first publication of the W.H. Dall Paleo. Research Center of Florida's Florida Atlantic University and it is essentially a work that describes 76 new species of fossil shells from the very fossil rich beds in the western part of Palm Beach County, in Florida. This work is an important addition to the paleontology of the molluscan population that inhabited this former sea bed and it is a step in understanding the present day marine mollusks that live off the Florida coastline today. This is a used copy but it is almost as new. It has a small tear at the lower edge of the cover near the spine and a small stain on the cover. |
