Neptune's TreasuresWe had no idea this book existed until we came across an offer for a few new copies of this long out of print book being offered from a dealer's inventory. The book is an excellent guide and a great source of information on antique shell-craft and price guide (now out of date due to inflation - add about $1.50 to the prices show to bring them up to 2014 values) and a lot of information about the people who made these things and a brief look at their history and their uses. The book is well illustrated with color photographs of 261 of these objects. The book will appeal to all of you you are yourself shell-crafters or just appreciate the amount of skill and imagination needed to produce these beautiful and sometimes strange or funny items. And of course it will appeal to shell collectors like ourselves whose limited knowledge of these objects has taken an upward swing by browsing through this book. We were able to get only 6 copies of this book and we think they will sell quickly.
