Beautifully reproduction of the manuscript of Brot's 1874 work on the Unios and Anodontid mollusks found in Switzerland along with a faithful reproduction of his 1867 publication on the same subject. Although little known today Brot's work is an important work in the history of European freshwater molluscan research. This is copy #28 of an edition of 30 copies and will probably be itself more of an object for collection than it will be for a research instrument. This copy is brand new. Copies were sold originally for 400.00 Ëuros or almost $640.00 at today's exchange rate.
