This is a highly technical symposium of chapters by various authors that is a complete look at the biology and the history of these amazing molluscs that have been around now for about 500 million years. This is the first copy of this book that we've had. The book is divided into 10 sections each of which contains several chapters on varying aspects of the biology of these animals and a look at their ancestry. This book is in like new condition but it does have the signature of its' previous owner on the front loose endpaper. Along with the book will be 2 articles clipped from newspapers that were tucked under the front flap of the dust jacket on the discovery of the so called living fossils .
