This book is the English edition of this work and covers over a thousand species of
shells found in South Africa. mainly in shallow water. There are more than 1400 shells
photographed showing the many variations that occur in the shells from
the rich waters of this part of the world. Some of the
shells pictured are a little small but it is great to have this
extensive reference work on the shells from this area. This is a used book but apart from the name of th eprevious owner written on th efront fly paper it looks like new.
