Although they are not very numerous this is an excellent guide to the fresh water shells found in the Lesser Antilles and it is an excellent companion book to the earlier "Guide to the Freshwater Molluscs of Cuba" which is part of the Greater Antilles. The book is well documented and the photos, drawings and information in this book are top quality. This book will never have wide appeal but to those interested in this branch of malacology and concholgy it is a "must".
