This book is a
complete revision of D. Beherns' earlier work "Pacific Coast Nudibranchs". Although these molluscs make
up a generous part of the phylum,Mollusca, they remain rather a mystery
to most shell enthusiasts because the only way to see them
apart form having the chance to be in the water with them is
to study them through the use of photography. This book gives
us a rare chance to see over three hundred of these beautiful
creatures in their natural habitat and to have our tour guided by to
experts in this field. I think that you will be as amazed as I was at
the diversity of the exotic life forms of these creatures and
you will have at your fingertips documents and information about them
that would probably take more than a lifetime to assemble. Just to say
that this book is well done is not enough and I think that everyone
will appreciate and marvel at this part of shells and
shelling that most of us have never been exposed to before.
