Although it is now an old book it is still a very quick and useful guide for the identification of the more common species of shells in this large and highly collectible family. The color drawings are very realistic. The species are divided by genera which is always a difficult task with these shells. The copy that I have is in excellent condition except for a small tear on the fold of the back flap of the dust jacket.
