Now long out of print this work is still very much in demand. It is the only comprehensive book covering a large number the terrestrial shells found throughout the world. This is a copy is used but it can almost pass for new.There is a small bump on the upper corner of the front cover and it has a special bookplate identifying this as copy #188 of the first 250 copies printed. The bookplate is signed by Abbott and inscribed to the previous owner of this book.
