2011, published by MdM Publishing, Wellington, FL., in laminated board covers, 412 pages, page size about 18.5 by 26.5 cm., 7¼ by 10½ inches, about 80 page size plates in black and white photos, other photos of site locations and drawings as well as extensive records of where these fossils were found.

We are very proud to be the publishers for this remarkable set of books complete. This volume appeared in DVD format a few months ago and now the first printing of the "book" version is available.This volume covers the families Strombidae, Cypraeidae, Ovulidae, Eocypraeidae, Triviidae, Conidae and Conolithidae. When completed this project will be the largset and most complete study of the rich and varied shell fossil fauna found in Florida. Dr. Petuch is an expert in this field and the author of many books and papers on both the Recent and Fossil shells found in Florida and also in many other places in the world. This book revises and expands on his extensive prior work he has published. In this book Dr. Petuch places these shells withing the historical geological framework of history of Florida and the Okeechobean Sea showing us the evolutionary paths that have led to the Recent Florida Fauna. Mardie Drolshagen is an expert photographer who has developed a way to bring out the patterns in many of the shells in this book bringing them "alive" in a degree not seen in any other paleontological work on these shells. Her outstanding photographically skills enable us to see as never before the detail and structure of these shells. This first printing is limited to 100 copies and sadly an unforeseen difficulty we encountered in the printing process has thrown off the numbering process on our pages. Purchasers of this printing will be allowed to exchange their copies for our second printing if they so desire.
