This book describes and illustrates the 64 species and sub-species that are found in the Bursidae. This group is always popular with collectors because of their great variability in shape and structure. This is an A4 (21 by 30cm) about 8½by 11½ inch size publication it is laminated board covered. It has 119 pages and over 150 illustrations in color of all of the shells included in this group, usually more than one shell is shown to show the variations possible in these shells. Text is in Italian and in English. This is a 1994 publication and it appears to be a new book. There is a hand-written date on the upper part of the front flyleaf possibly from a dealer's inventory. |
