This book continues the study in volume 1 (by Lamprell & Whitehead) with an additional 778 species that are described and illustrated with color photos or drawings. It is an excellent book and the most recent study of the Australian bivalves to date. Sadly though the first volume is now out of print and it is quite difficult to find. I have only one copy of volume two in stock it is new but the front and back lower corners are bumped due to careless packing and shipping.
