Here is a link that you can follow to an excellent review of this book by Dr. Harry G. Lee of Jacksonville, Florida. The review was published in the "Nautilus" in 2001 and reprinted with the permission of the editor, Dr. Jose Leal. If your browser (like mine)will not allow you to open the link you can simply left click on it and open it either as a tab on this window or in a new window.

This is a very well researched and comprehensive coverage of the shells from this Island which is part of the Bahama Island chain . It fills the literature in the molluscan literature gap for a book that deals with the numerous kinds of shells found here. Florida and Caribbean collectors will find this a very useful book since many of the shells in this book also occurd in Florida and Caribbean waters. The black and white photos are very sharp and the close ups of some of the micro shells are simply amazing in the amount of detail that they show. These copies are autographed by the author whom I feel myself priviledged to call a friend. In addition to the book there are periodic updates and additions to the book on the author's website,
