Avicennia - Numero 20 (2017)
Revista de Biodiversidad Tropical
edited by Dr. J. Espinosa, Dr. J. Ortega, &  Dr. L. Moro

ISSN 1134-1785, published in May. 2017, by Revista de Biodiversidad Tropical, Havana, Cuba, magazine in laminated paper covers, about 20 by 28 cm., or 8 by 11 inches, 56 pages, in Spanish, illustrated with color photographs and drawings

This scientific set of articles has been in publication since 1993, but I just became aware of it only a few weeks ago. A complete run of this publication can be seen on the Biodiversity Library's web site by copying https://www.avicennia.es/numeros-publicados into your browser. Although the publication is aimed mainly for malacologists and marine biologists, those interested in shells of the Caribbean will find articles of interest in these magazines there are also some articles concerning non-Caribbean mollusks, but the majority of the articles that I've seen cover mollusks from Cuba. I wish that there was an English translation of these articles but they can be read by non-Spanish speakers with the use of an online translator. The two issues that I have in stock are very high-quality publications.
