This is the first study in more than 100 years of this family and this
volume covers all the known species (to 1993) known from the Indian and
the Pacific Oceans. In this book 250 species level names are studied
and discussed with the conclusion that 88 of these are valid species
belonging to 11 genera. An additional 20 species are described as new
in this work. The book contains more than 600 photographic
illustrations of these shells. This book is in new condition and it is
a book that is much in demand but unfortunately is in very small supply. |
