1988, Records of the Australian Museum, paper covered, 160 pages, about 8¼ by 11¼ inches (about 21 by 28.5 cm), 88 figures in text consisting of b/w photographs of shells and scanning electron microscope photos of radulae, line drawings, distributional maps, and 57 tables
This title pretty well sums up the contents of this excellent publication. It is a work that everyone who works with or is a serious collector of the Muricidae will want. Unfortunately it is a very difficult to find work and this is the first copy that we've been able to find in a very long time. The book is written by two experts in the field and it is an outstanding contribution to our knowledge of this very complex family of marine gastropods. This book is as new except for the name of the previous owner written on the front end paper. |
